Slovenian researchers succeeded significant achievement in the field of materials
Researchers from Jozef Stefan Institute (Tadej Rojac, Andreja Benčan, Hana Uršič, Boštjan Jančar, Gašper Tavčar, Maja Makarovič, Julian Walker, Barbara Malič) and National Institute of Chemistry (Goran Dražić), in collaboration with colleagues from Switzerland (Dragan Damjanović) and Japan (Naonori Sakamoto), were the first to identify accumulation of charged defects at domain walls in ferroelectric BiFeO3. The study was published in Nature Materials. Centre of Excellence NAMASTE were acknowledged for access to the research equipment.

12th Nanotechnology Day
12th Nanotechnology Day was held 6th May 2016 at Gospodarsko razstavišče Ljubljana, organized by Janez Škrlec, RRD, member of Science and Technology Council at the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport. CoE NAMASTE was partner of the event.
