ClimateLaunchpad is Europe's largest cleantech business idea competition
You have a business idea about sustainability and you have what it takes to become an entrepreneur. In that case, ClimateLaunchpad could be your ticket to European and global success. Your cleantech idea can be about an all-out mind shift in urban mobility, a sustainable transition in the food chain or any other way to tackle climate change. the competition is open to participants based in 23 countries. The 8 teams selected in the EU semi-finals to perform in the Grand Final, will get direct access into Climate-KIC Accelerator without having to pitch to a review board. Besides this, the overall winner of the European Final receives € 10,000, the runner up gets € 5,000 and the idea that comes in third place wins € 2,500.

Recognition to KEKO-Equipment Ltd., Žužemberk
Our partner KEKO-Equipment has been awarded by Chamber of Commerce of Republic of Slovenia. This award has been given for the 47th time as industrial and entrepreneurs recognition for successful long-term steering of companies. Eight (8) entrepreneurs from seven (7) companies within six (6) regions and six (6) different industries were awarded this year.

Energy among global priorities
Janez Škrlec, chairman of the Science Committee at Craft and Small Business of Slovenia (OZS) »Slovenia should forefront global priorities as ICT, smart materials, nanotechnologies, biotechnology and other fields, in its strategy«, reminded in published article in the Finance magazine about energy as one of the global priorities. A tight connection between faculties, research institutes, CoE NAMASTE, Nanocenter and others, was also mentioned in the article.
